The Pride Resource Network supports underserved communities across New Jersey through a wide range of impactful programs and outreach efforts. One of its cornerstone initiatives, The People at Work program, helps individuals strengthen their career readiness by offering hands-on support with résumé writing, interview preparation, and job-search guidance.
In addition to workforce development and scholarship opportunities for students, the organization leads ongoing food and clothing drives that directly benefit local shelters, churches, and families in need. Through these combined efforts, the Pride Resource Network provides essential resources, empowers individuals to pursue stability and opportunity, and fosters a stronger, more supported community.
With this scholarship fund, we aim to help build a brighter future for immigrant students across the country through the creation of the Carlos F. Garcia Muentes Scholarship. This scholarship will support students who demonstrate a strong passion for learning and a commitment to creating better opportunities for themselves, their families, and their communities.
The People at Work program helps individuals reenter the workforce by providing personalized support with résumé writing, job-search preparation, and career guidance. Through one-on-one assistance and practical tools, the program empowers participants to present their strengths confidently and take meaningful steps toward stable employment.
The Pride Resource Network hosts an annual Thanksgiving food drive to support families and individuals in need across New Jersey. Through generous community donations and volunteer efforts, the drive provides essential meals and holiday staples, helping ensure that everyone can celebrate the season with warmth, dignity, and nourishment.
The Pride Resource Network also hosts a winter coat drive to support individuals and families facing the colder months without adequate protection. By collecting new and gently used coats, we help ensure that community members stay warm, safe, and supported throughout the winter season.
